This piece, "Black Diaspora," is inspired by my Black heritage. It pays homage to all those who came before me, who put their best foot forward to uplift the Black community and culture, both nationally and globally.
The design features the silhouette of a Black man in the distance. I’ve been drawn to silhouettes lately; they remind me that across the past, present, and future, we represent not just a community but also our rich history and vibrant culture.
